Wider coverage in the North for SolidWorks United Kingdom, Cambridge, May 18, 2009 – On 13 May 2009 Solid Solutions Management, the UK’s largest and main SolidWorks reseller, purchased CadConnect, the Newcastle and Leeds based SolidWorks reseller, which commenced trading in 2001. Solid Solutions will operate this business as a wholly owned subsidiary trading as Solid Solutions CadConnect.
Whilst Solid Solutions has very strong market share in the South and Midlands, this extended northern coverage ensures a truly national operation with its additional offices and training facilities in Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield.
Existing CadConnect customers will continue to benefit from the experienced and skilled technical support supplied from Newcastle and Leeds, but this will now be backed up by the additional strength and synergy from the 45-strong team at Solid Solutions Management. This extended technical team offers the largest and best qualified SolidWorks support team in the UK and has the necessary capacity and skills to provide full cover for the increasingly sophisticated range of SolidWorks solutions now available. “The support and implementation from Solid Solutions has been excellent and exceeded all expectations.
