3D Sketches in SolidWorks are very useful ways of laying down some 3D entities, much quicker than doing several 2D sketches. However, since you have a 2D screen and a 2D input device (the good old mouse!), here are a few tips and tricks to make them as easy as possible, saving you lots of time and effort.
If you need to deal with PCB design data, commonly known as ECAD or Electronic CAD data, then CircuitWorks is the way to do it. It builds up a library of electronic components allowing you to add detail to it, adding to the realism, allowing you to create tight fitting casings with no interferences.
