About The Vacancy

Job Description	Leading OEM, with multiple sites across the UK manufacturing and designing innovative machinery for a modern market. As a special purpose machine design engineer you will be designing equipment, including full bespoke machinery, jigs, fixtures and tooling for a diverse customer base. You will also be tasked with elements of project control including schedules, cost tracking and manpower allocation. The role will be a senior position within an expanding and exciting business.
Experience Required	To be successful the candidate will need to be able to demonstrate that they possess the following skills, attributes and experiences: Experienced in the mechanical design of complex machinery. Draughting using geometric tolerancing techniques, parts lists generation, FMEA. Experience of Solidworks or similar 3d package. The following skills and experiences are highly desirable: Pneumatic control system experience. Large and small project supervision experience Machinery directive / machine building knowledge Design Risk assessment
Qualifications	Preferably Mechanical Engineering degree or HNC/D
Salary Range	Negotiable upon experience
