Job Description	The Company We design, manufacture and install high specification partitioning systems. The company has a young, vibrant workforce and is a market leader and due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a SolidWorks Designer in their Cheshire based regional office. Job description You will be working in an office in Cheshire as part of a team of SolidWorks Designers supporting all aspects of design for the head office based in Canary Wharf, London. You will work on a variety of nationwide projects, ranging from £25k up to £5m in value and may have to travel to London on an occasional basis, which might involve overnight stays. The job involves creating visuals and design drawings for tender stage through to fabrication drawings for manufacturing. Following approval of the drawings you be required to order all the relevant components via an automated take-off system and liaise with the purchasing department to ensure a smooth transition of components to site. Other areas of involvement include die design, product design and systems development. Communications is a key element of the position and this includes speaking directly with the London based design team, the factory and on-site fixing teams. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, with a keen interest in design and 3D modelling and with a willingness to develop their skills in the specialist market of office partitioning. A natural tendency to have a high attention to detail and highly organised working process will be required.
Experience Required	Advanced skills in SolidWorks 2011 for both modelling and rendering. Good understanding of AutoCAD Good understanding of 3D Studio Max preferable Good understanding of Microsoft office Good interpersonal and communication skills Self managed, motivated and hard working Knowledge of the construction or architectural business preferable
Qualifications	Relevant experience Solidworks essential
