About The Vacancy

Job Description	We have a requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work with our Project Delivery team and Product Development team. The role will require you to carry out the following duties: Produce accurate 3D models from which 2D metalwork fabrication drawings can be produced. Attend and contribute to design and contract review meetings Take responsibility and be aware of project costs throughout the design process. To liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and customers where required.
Experience Required	Practical engineering experience, preferably within metalwork fabrication. Experience of designing mechanical structure using standard sections, plate and pipework. Ability to work unsupervised and under own initiative. Be able to show a good level of 3D Solidworks skills.
Qualifications	HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Competent user of 3D Solidworks modeling and 2D AutoCAD.
Salary Range	Negotiable depending on skill set
