About The Vacancy

Job Description	Dynamiq Engineering Ltd, a highly respected midlands based Engineering Consultancy, specialising in high-level engineering analysis and design. We currently require post-doctoral engineers with developed skills in the use of Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS v11 & v12, Solidworks Simulation) and 3D CAD (SolidWorks) for an engineering analysis and design posts. The company has clients in all sectors of the engineering industry including: • Aerospace • Defence • Automotive • Oil & Gas • Power • Medical • Heavy Industry • Product Design Successful candidates will have responsibility for a wide variety of analysis, design and R&D based projects in all sectors of the engineering industry. Substantial potential exists for personal and career development and promotion and generous performance based remuneration is available for appropriately qualified applicants. Candidates will be expected to be independent, flexible, tenacious and hardworking.
Experience Required	Only candidates possessing a first class honours degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering in addition to a Ph.D. or Eng.D. related to the application of Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics or high-level mechanical design need apply. Candidates will be required to attend an assessment centre in which they will be expected to demonstrate: • Professional Grade Proficiency with ANSYS v12 - Static Structural Analysis (Linear & Non-Linear) - Contact Analysis - Resolving Model Convergence Difficulties - Modal, Harmonic, Response Spectrum & Random Vibration Analysis - Flexible Dynamic Analysis • Professional Grade Proficiency with SolidWorks - Part & Assembly Modelling - Technical Drawing & BOM Production - CAD De-featuring for Analysis - Working knowledge of SolidWorks Simulation • Aptitude for Mechanical Design & Product Development
Qualifications	First Class Honours Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering in addition to either a Ph.D. or Eng.D.
