SSM are please to invite you to see SolidWorks 2010 at their Head Office in Warwick. The event is a chance to see what the latest version of Solidworks has to offer along with the support services of SSM. Furthermore we have practical technical sessions covering various specialist topics so you can experience first hand what SolidWorks can do for your industry.

10:15	Introduction and Welcome to Solid Solutions Management What is SolidWorks 2010 Demonstration Part 1 • Form a design – Simply and effectively capture your design objective • Creating assemblies – Bring together parts and assemblies as you would in real life on a virtual work bench • Detailing and Drafting – Instantly create fully dimensions 2D drawings from you 3D models or assemblies • Fabrication tools – Powerful Sheetmetal and Weldments tools create fabricated components with ease

11:15	What is SolidWorks 2010 Demonstration Part 2 • Test – Analyse what you’ve designed using a variety of tools from Collision detection through to full Stress analysis • Optimise – Increase strength, decrease weight or reduce cost • 2D to 3D – Use legacy or customer supplied 2D data to directly create 3D models • Market your product – Produce photorealistic images or animation for your promotional literature or publish exploded views etc to show assembly procedures or how to service your design.

12:30	Simulation • SolidWorks Simulation helps improve product quality by indicating how SolidWorks models will behave before they are built. Go beyond simple hand calculations by verifying your intuitions and study the real-world performance of different design alternatives without ever leaving the SolidWorks window.

13:30	Option 1 - SolidWorks 2010- Hands-on You've seen a demonstration, now take advantage of our training facilities and experience first hand Solidworks 2010. Our SolidWorks certified Engineers will take you through some training material, getting you to create and analyse your own geometry. Option 2 - SolidCAM - CAM made easy SolidCAM provides seamless single-window integration and full associatively with the SolidWorks design model. All machining operations can be defined, calculated and verified without leaving the parametric SolidWorks assembly environment. If you do any changes to your SolidWorks model, all your CAM operations will be automatically updated. Option 3 - Intro To EnterprisePDM Learn how Enterprise PDM can improve your document management processes throughout your organisation

Our SolidWorks certified Engineers will take you through some training material, getting you to create and analyse your own geometry. Option 2 - DriveWorks AND SW Sustainability - Ensure you have a Green Future DriveWorks is an easy to use tool that allows you to automate repetitive design tasks. It is a rule based tool that will allow you to create multiple versions of your SolidWorks Parts, Assembly’s & Drawings, quickly and accurately from formula driven inputs. Solidworks Sustainability helps designers using SolidWorks to understand the impact of their work to the environment. It is an easy to use program that integrates fully with SolidWorks, allowing informed choices to be made earlier in the design process. Option 3 - 3DVia - Technical Publications brought up to date See how to produce product documentation directly from 3D model designs. Product documents are linked directly to the CAD model ensuring ease of change
