We are very pleased to announce a significant and positive change for Solid Solutions, your SolidWorks reseller. With effect from 23 March 2016 we have secured an £8m investment from BGF (Business Growth Fund) to support the continued growth of our core business, and facilitate the acquisition of Derbyshire based Cadtek, the UK & Ireland’s third largest SolidWorks reseller.
We are very pleased to announce a significant and positive change for Solid Solutions, your SOLIDWORKS reseller. With effect from 23 March 2016 we have secured an £8m investment from BGF (Business Growth Fund) to support the continued growth of our core business, and facilitate the acquisition of Derbyshire based Cadtek, the UK & Ireland’s third largest SOLIDWORKS reseller.
This acquisition adds both scale and capacity, and will allow our customers to benefit from an even wider product and service offering, plus easier access to training by adding Cadtek’s eight UK training centres to the 15 that we already operate.
Cadtek has been established since 1988 and has built its reputation on the highest standard of technical expertise and delivering first class support for their customers.
What does this mean for our customers?
It’s business as usual for now, but moving forward we aim to offer our customers an even richer, more efficient service by combining the technical capabilities, training content and infrastructure of both Solid Solutions and Cadtek.
