Large Assembly Management

SolidWorks has a lot of tools to ensure that working with large assemblies in solidworks is not a headache. Lightweigtht mode can be used to reduce the time it takes to load assemblies and speeds up working with them. New in 2009 onwards is the speed pack technology. This allows simplified versions of assemblies to be created quickly and easily, again speeding up using assemblies, and also helping to reduce the time taken to produce drawings. You can also use the quick view funtionalilty to make sure that only the components that are needed are loading, again, helping to ensure that working with the assembly is smooth.
