Manufacturing Sales Manager

The Opportunity
Due to expansion as the UK’s largest SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software reseller, we now have a position available in our fast-paced Manufacturing Sales team.

We have an established and extensive client-base, plus a strong track record for delivering customer satisfaction. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the best people in the industry, selling from a portfolio of leading CAD/CAM products including the likes of SOLIDWORKS CAM, SolidCAM, CAMWORKS, SWOOD and SigmaNEST as well as our industry-leading professional services.

This is a full-time role and can be based out of our Leeds, Sheffield, Durham or Leamington Spa Offices.

Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Winning new customers for our range of manufacturing products and services
  • Creating relationships within customers at multiple levels
  • Customer lead follow-up and qualification
  • Understanding customer requirements via calls and meetings
  • Conducting software demonstrations in conjunction with our technical team
  • Identifying additional opportunities within customers for promoting additional complimentary products and professional services such as training and consultancy.
  • Producing quotations and illustrating the value of our solutions
  • Negotiating and closing
  • Achieving quota and forecasting accurately
Your Experience / Skills
This role requires a knowledge of modern CAM systems across a variety of disciplines including metal machining, wood routing and sheet metal fabrication. Relevant industry experience in at least one of these areas is essential. A Knowledge of machine tool technology would be beneficial.

You will have the ability to influence new customers, develop customer relationships, understand their needs and translate into solutions that deliver real business benefits.

Successful candidates should have a proven and successful sales record in a technology or software sector. We are looking for highly motivated individuals that are seeking an extra challenge and the associated financial reward. If you have good academic qualifications, have the ability to think laterally and are keen to focus your energy on the needs of our customers, we would like to hear from you.
