Very interesting, this is something I have done a lot with a couple of problems which almost made it unworkable. 1. I have used the link property of my parts to enter the linked image url and have found it unreliable as sometimes it accepts a relative path and other times an absolute path. But you have emphasised the relative path as a strength using custom hotspots. I will now try that method. 2. On the technical illustration workshop the "Preview" button always takes me to an html page with a link to an out of date Adobe page to install an svg viewer. Some of my users have experienced the same problem but this is resolved by updating IE.
