We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with knowledge of various materials and manufacturing processes who is highly proficient in Solidworks 3D Design as well as 2D Drawings for Manufacture
The Role of Mechanical Design Engineer
Will be working as part of a small Mechanical Design Team within a Mechanical Deign Consultancy
Will be working on wide range of Technical Projects both as part of a team and individually
Creating 3d models and Production drawing in Solidworks
Via an internal bespoke Project Management system, you Will Mange your own Design workload to meet deadlines
Projects will include moving parts, sheet metal, machined components, fabrication, plastic parts etc
The ideal candidate for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer
Will be Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Will have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Solidworks
Will hold at least 3 years experience within Industry in a Design role
Will have Experience required moving parts, sheet metal, machined components, fabrication, plastic parts
Will be capable of Producing accurate 2D drawings and models
Will be adaptable to the diverse range of Design requirements of a Consultancy
Will have good communication skills and the confidence to put ideas forward
Will have excellent organisation and time management skills
Will ideally be located within a 20 mile radius of Wombourne (WV5)
Must have a driving licence and own transport
