Description
To assist the Technical Development Manager in progressing the company forward and designing new and innovative products. You will be involved with the design stage, working alongside tool makers, tool trials and relevant test procedures. The role also covers the technical support of our customers within the industry to support them with the use and queries of the products. There is also a quality aspect to the role supporting the quality culture within the company. This is a good opportunity to grow and learn within an experienced manufacturing environment.
Your Experience / Skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications - essential
• Experience working with CAD using SOLIDWORKS - desirable although training will be available.
• Prior experience in plastic manufacturing – desirable
• Experience in product design - desirable
Qualification:
Education in an engineering background open from GNVQ up to degree
Salary Range:
£22-25K depending on experience
