Location: Chipping Campden (Commutable from Cheltenham, Evesham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Worcester
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours)
Reporting to: Senior Designer
Outline:
This is a technical role working in our small Design team. Working closely with the Designers and the Product Design & Development Engineer providing support in 2D and 3D CAD using SolidWorks. This team are at the heart of the business generating leading edge products and ideas, you will enjoy being in this positive and supportive team and ideally you will have a good sense of humour!
Key Responsibilities:
Involvement in the design process to support the Design Team
Work up initial design concepts in CAD ready for review internally
Produce technical drawings from approved designs
Preparation of 3D models for review and testing
Take part in brainstorming and problem solving
Produce renders for IP purposes
Complete product spec sheets for approval
Quality control
Carry out inspection of samples and complete reports for sign off
QC inspection of shipment of new products when required
As we are a small but growing company you may be required to carry out additional tasks as required by the business.
The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys working with CAD and being the support to the Designers, however this is not a design role.
