This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an engineering company that specialise in the design and manufacture of specialist and powered bathing products.
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for technical documentation and the design and development of new products and product improvement. You will update technical documents to include manuals and technical files and also produce Mechanical Designs, using SOLIDWORKS, build and test the prototypes and improve existing product portfolio

SOLIDWORKS assembly, part creation and creating drawings
BOM creation
Design for manufacture:- Welded frames, Turned parts, CNC machined parts, Mould tool principles, Injection moulding techniques, Fabrication
Detailed drawing specs including CTQ's
Tolerance stacks
Realistic tolerance for the chosen manufacturing method
PCPL tracking
MS Word & Excel
