Are you a 3D CAD Technician with SOLIDWORKS/Inventor experience?
Are you looking to progress your career within a busy design department where you will receive specific industry training and be given the chance to progress your career?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established fabrication company who are motivated to become the principle supplier on their customer framework.
They are experiencing strong growth with a solid long-term order book.
They are renowned for low staff turnover and investing in the staff and equipment.

This role will suit a 3D CAD Technician looking to take the next step in their career where they will become a valued, integral member of the team.

The Role:
• Working a variety of projects where you will progressively work on more complex and detailed designs.
• Producing 3D CAD Models and subsequent 2D Fabrications drawings to company standards.
• Creating 2D geometry for Plasma/ Laser Profilers
• Maintaining drawing registers and files.
• Working within a small and closely-knit team where you will be heavily invested in to develop your technical skillset and experiences.
• Performing site surveys using both traditional methods and using 3D Laser Scanning (Training will be provided)

Your Experience / Skills

The Person:
• A Background in 3D CAD,
• Experience with Inventor / SOLIDWORKS.
• Focused individual with strong work ethic and team working mindset.
• Ideally you will have experience in steelwork and sheet metal fabrication.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and desire/ ability to integrate.
• A ‘can do’ and ‘right first time’ approach

Qualification:
GCSE's in Maths, English & Sciences
HNC/HND in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering

Salary Range:
£28 - 32K
