Cubis Systems

Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will provide technical, engineering and project management services to support Epicor implementation, product tenders, new products and customer and market approvals. Based at our Lurgan site their key responsibilities will include:

• Managing CAD based projects within a cross-functional team with a key focus on CAD – in areas involving ERP/MRP &

Driveworks, new product designs, new customer and market approvals and specifications.

• Providing Technical support to Operations, Procurement, Commercial and Marketing teams


• Liaising with external bodies to help manage inhouse testing


• Validating part designs (FEA) and working with test engineers to validate predictions


• Part approval sign off, code and BOM creation


• Providing help and support with various projects within the Technical and Product Development teams

Candidates must have undertaken a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering role and have extensive Project Management experience. They must also possess the following skills and competencies:

• HND level, or equivalent, education in an Engineering discipline


• Experience within a Mechanical / Manufacturing environment or role


• Experience of project management within a previous role in desirable


• Proficient use of SolidWorks 3D Solid Modelling


• Knowledge of ERP systems


• Excellent IT skills


• Advanced communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills


• A natural ability to collaborate with team members at all levels and make quality decisions


• The successful candidate will be adept at managing complexity, planning and aligning goals and driving results


• Applicants who can demonstrate a keen customer focus and a ‘can do’ attitude will have a distinct advantage


• French or German language skills are desirable


• A knowledge of polymers, including composites and finite analysis of plastics and/or composite parts will be considered an advantage


• An awareness of BIM is desirable
