Paragon Creative is one of the world's leading creative design and build companies and we are looking for an experienced Fit Out Designer / Draftsman to expand the design team, you will generate drawings as required and will collaborate with other in-house production departments. You will have experience within high end bespoke interior fit out or exhibition/museum production design or Theme Park production design.

Summary of Role Responsibilities:
Generation of fully resolved production ready drawings and the required liaison with in-house fabrication departments, external sub-contractors, and clients.
• Work as part of the design team to generate drawings as required
• Collaborating with other in house production departments
• Ensure all design work undertaken satisfies the aesthetic requirements of our clients or their brand or IP
• Responsible for technical and structural integrity of designs, liaising with experts as required
• Prepare and assists in drawing revisions are required
• Maintain knowledge of company standards and incorporate these into your designs
• Attending project meetings (both internal and external)
• Perform other duties and take on responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within high end bespoke interior fit out or exhibition/museum production design or Theme Park production design.
• Excellent understanding of technical details and forms, diverse materials and materials technology, commercial and industrial build processes, bespoke fabrication in joinery, metal and plastics and integration of 3rd party equipment (AV, Control, Cabling).
• Have excellent track record and working experience in 2 and 3D CAD based design systems, such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Solid works.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Office based software an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, integrity, respect for confidentiality, sound judgment and decision making skills.
• Must be efficient, detail minded, hardworking and responsible with a positive working attitude.
• Knowledge of construction trades and practices is an advantage.

The roles required are varied and will suit candidates from Bench Joinery and Cabinet Maker backgrounds within the bespoke exhibition, events or high-end shop fit, retail, hotel fit-out sectors; as well as candidates with set works/theatrical build experience.
Skills and Experience

• Must be timed served with at least 10 years workshop experience, being able to understand and work from complex drawings
• Previous experience working in a busy workshop with excellent knowledge of most Woodworking Machinery and equipment
• Will ideally own their own personal tool kits. Workshop power tools and equipment are supplied but must be respected and maintained
• Have a good understanding of technical/construction drawings and be able to work efficiently from drawings without supervision
• Knowledge of different materials including most sheet products/laminates/hard woods and adhesives
• CSCS cards or other work-related training certificates are an advantage
