We’re seeking two strong product design engineers to help challenge the status quo and manipulate the rules to create the game-changing products that put us on the map. We are based in Whitchurch, Hampshire in a contemporary custom conversion of an old Chapel. It is a creative environment designed to nurture the best of the best and reward them with state of the art facilities, social space, and even a gym.
You are a capable product design engineer; either a good eye for design or an aptitude for mechanical assemblies will be expected. Experience is important... talent and attitude is vital.
You are bright. You can't help but wonder about the world. You love doing stuff, and you are fascinated by cool things.
You enjoy being busy, you love creating and you have fun.
You have sound general manufacturing and material knowledge for casting, moulding and fabrication and an avid curiosity for new technologies and processes.
Although very much supported by a broad skilled team you will need to be self-motivated and have pride in achieving. You will communicate with and direct suppliers, make the occasional wisecrack and have a good taste in music.
You will design products and work in all aspects of the design process, from early concepts to final manufacture.
You will explore in CAD, build rigs and test theories and make new ideas possible. You will put the ‘How’ into ‘What if’.
Solidworks and Keyshot are your tools.
When theory requires the support of data, you will develop test rigs and conduct trials. When ideas become hard facts, the mechanical principles will be captured in 3D CAD packages.
