Description
GB Engineering is a lift interior fabrication company with offices based in Thamesmead. We specialise in sheet metal fabrication, folding, welding and finishing.
We are currently recruiting for a SOLIDWORKS draftsman whose sole role will be to ensure all drawings are delivered on time and to the correct quality.
You will be working alongside the 3 main directors and will be working to deadlines daily so attention to detail is key and must be willing to be available for overtime when required.
Your Experience / Skills
- Producing technical drawings from both our own designs and re-engineering customers drawings.
- Background in working with sheet metal is advantageous, as is the ability to distinguish different metals and finishes including Aluminium, Steel and Stainless Steel.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Understanding of the Lift Industry, but not essential.
Qualification:
Any drafting qualification from College/University or has good knowledge of CAD/solidworks
