Established 1988
Started in business selling HP based CAD hardware and software to companies in the UK and Ireland. Supported companies in 2D electronic drawings, for which we sold ME10, through to the current parametric 3D CAD solutions.
2005
In November 1995 SOLIDWORKS released its first product, SOLIDWORKS 95. A true game changing moment in computer aided design.
2007
“Elite” Status – Cadtek was one of the first resellers in the world to be recognised as an Elite SOLIDWORKS Reseller. We have since gone on to achieve this accolade 10 times in the 11 years since, a record only a few other of the 400+ resellers can lay claim to.
1990’s
During the 1990’s we built our relationship with Dassault Systemes and in time became one of Europe’s largest SmarTeam PDM implementers. The current depth of experience in our PDM team stems from this heritage in complex Data Management projects.
1997
Cadtek began to sell SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD helping our customers migrate from ME10 2D CAD across to the rapidly developing 3D environment.
2016
Cadtek was acquired by the Solid Solutions Group bringing together our shared experiences and long heritage to the largest SOLIDWORKS reseller in the UK.
