Post Processor

To ensure that you get a seamless transfer from SolidCAM to your machine our team can develop bespoke post processors which accommodate your businesses workflow requirements, specialist machining techniques and machine simulation. All this can be done whilst abiding by the kinematic limits of the machine and the controller’s specific language.

As with all aspects of SWOOD, SWOOD post processors are tailored to work with your router and it’s control. Whether it be standard ISO code or being imported into SCM’s Maestro or Biesse’s B-Solid and Biesseworks. SWOOD post processors can also take into account additional in process operations, such as pod movement and panel flipping, to make production as smooth as possible.

Within DELMIA we have a suite of flexible tools create code for kinematically complex machines with Simulation, Post Processing and Emulation all being available to ensure you are always cutting first time right. In addition to this we have a set of tools that can also further optimise your programs by intelligently changing the feed rate when the machine is found to be not cutting material.

So that you can excel with SOLIDWORKS CAM and CAMWorks, we can create custom post processors to take your programmed parts in CAM onto your Milling Machine or Lathe with a simple click whether your machine uses FANUC, Heidenhain or a Siemens control.

If you don’t currently have CAM software provided by Solid Solutions this is not a problem. We can offer bespoke Simulation, Post Processing and Emulation for the majority of CAM systems on the market through ICAM. ICAM can leverage a default output from your CAM system and build on it to allow you to get a digital replication of your machine to ensure you can cut parts correctly every time.
