The Opportunity

The Solid Solutions Group are looking for an Junior Video Editor to join our growing marketing department to support the growing amount of content we produce. You will be working alongside the senior videographer and editor across a range of productions from customer case studies to technical team productions.

You will also be able to refresh and repurposing existing and archive video content to keep the website up to date and fresh. We are looking for someone who wants to continually learn and maximize every opportunity to push yourself and those around you.

Key Details

Salary Range:
£23,000 to £26,000

Hours of work:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Description

Key Tasks:

Using the Adobe Suite to put together videos for Social and internal channels.
Supporting the production of videos for our social and internal channels.
Liaising with clients, Staff and project stakeholders.
Work closely with the Videographer and Graphic designer to achieve best results.
Attend filming sessions to assist and understand the processes involved.
Improving the quality of videos from our engineers and helping them achieve our production standards.
Liaising with clients/partners and our internal teams

Internal training will be provided to support onboarding and completion of tasks

Your Experience / Skills

Skills & Requirements

Have a detailed knowledge of post-production processes. This includes the use of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After-Effects.
An ability to implement graphics into video productions you work on.
Ability to work quickly but accurately and meet tight deadlines.
A creative mind with storytelling abilities.
Audio production experience desirable.
Receptive to feedback and able to work alone or as part of a team.
You will have the ability to use your own initiative and effectively problem solve.
Video production experience desirable but not essential.
Showreel or portfolio.

The Ideal Candidate:

1+ years’ experience with marketing, video production or video editing
Ideal role for recent graduate or someone looking for a new challenge
Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working with a team and individually
Self-starter with positive attitude and attention to detail
