New Business SOLIDWORKS Sales Executive - South

We are looking to expand our sales team within the Southern region. The successful candidate should be technology focused and with existing sales/commercial experience.

Job Description

A sales career with the UK’s largest SOLIDWORKS CAD vendor. Due to successful business growth, we are looking to expand our sales team within the Southern region.

We require an additional New Business Sales Executive, ideally working from our Fareham office or a Central South location to sell the SOLIDWORKS portfolio of products. This is a field sales role and will involve visiting companies to conduct meetings and presentations, as well as office based time to generate opportunities and advance pipeline. We have an established and extensive client-base, plus a strong track record for delivering customer satisfaction.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the best people in the industry, selling a leading CAD product and join a company that is firmly on an upward curve.

Your Experience / Skills

The successful candidate will have 2-5 years successful selling experience in a Business to Business environment (not retail), ideally in a technology/IT sector. A relevant degree/HND qualification is also a pre-requisite for this position.

A self starter with good organisation skills is essential; you will need an understanding of the critical business issues that modern manufacturing companies seek to resolve, matching their needs with our SOLIDWORKS software solutions. Ideal candidates will have an engineering background and a proven track record of successful sales. Having previously sold IT and/or CAD Solutions will be of significant benefit.

The Role

  • Prospecting and pipeline generation
  • Prospect lead follow-up and qualification
  • Understanding prospect requirements via calls and meetings
  • Conducting software demonstrations in conjunction with our technical team
  • Producing quotations and illustrating the value of our solutions
  • Negotiating and closing
  • Achieving quota and forecasting accurately
