What is available to me as a student?
A degree-seeking student is defined as a student who can confirm enrolment in a degree-granting program, or who can confirm full-time enrolment in a certificate-granting program. Do not purchase this software if you're not a degree-seeking student or a full-time faculty member. Commercial and institutional use is prohibited.

Although SOLIDWORKS Student Edition is functionally identical to the SOLIDWORKS software used by professionals in the workplace, certain features make it unsuitable for commercial use.
How do I get access to the home user licenses?
If you are aware of the SDK or SEK ID then you can fill out the student access form by following this link If you do not know your School License ID or the SOLIDWORKS VAR Name that covers your school, please contact your Instructor.
What is included as part of your subscription for education?
The SOLIDWORKS Educational Subscription gives you access to all of the standard subscription services we offer to our commercial customers. This includes: remote access support, telephone support, access to 24/7 support facilities, software updates, access to MySolidSolution, MySOLIDWORKS, Certification Days and Weekly webcasts. Along with this customers will also get access to any home user license codes they are entitled too, as well as curriculum support from SOLIDWORKS and Solid Solutions. Depending on the network license purchased you may also be entitled to batches of certification codes to be used throughout the year.
Students will also get access to MySolidSolutions which includes 1000's of online training videos, tips and tricks and webcasts.
