Description
Temporary Design Engineer.
3 - 6 month contract to support our engineering department based in Aldridge, West Midlands.
Typically the work will entail design of machined and turned components, steel and stainless steel fabrications, plastics and laminated products and small mechanisms.
Based in the engineering office, the role will require time to be spent on the shop floor, both to understand the products and to ensure a smooth introduction of engineering changes.
Proficiency in 3D and 2D SolidWorks is essential.
Experience of product and component design would be an advantage.
