Keit produces a novel spectrometer and
this is a development role that will provide mechanical design support to a variety of projects within the company.
You will be responsible for various aspects of product development work which may include:
> Design of mechanical components using Solidworks
> Finite Element analysis using Solidworks to study the effects of temperature, pressure and vibration on the performance of the assemblies.
> Specification of materials
> Assembling and investigating the performance of your designs, e.g. independently performing shaker table and thermal cycling experiments and analysing the results.
> Reporting on your findings
> Managing the procurement of all mechanical components
Demonstrable experience in product development using 3D CAD such as SolidWorks.
