Due to growth we require an experienced Project Design Engineer to manage all aspects of an allocated project through initial conception to practical completion, supported by the technical manager in achieving a practical solution to our customers’ needs ensuring the product is also a cost effective and compliant solution for Pickering’s Lifts. The ideal candidate will also be able to produce general arrangement drawings and detailed drawings for manufacture as required, which may require site attendance and surveys in the support of new sales.

Your Experience / Skills

Experience required with 3D modelling using solid works and also general arrangement drawings in 2D with AutoCAD.

Candidates must possess a HNC or Equivalent in Civil/Design Engineering.

Previous Lift industry experience would advantageous but not essential

Exceptional IT skills with in depth knowledge of design software (AutoCAD/solidworks/3D) are also essential requirements for this role.
