Your Experience / Skills
Time served Apprentice in a machining environment
Hands on Milling experience
Fanuc knowledge and understanding
Understanding of machining a variety of materials, namely: Aluminium & Steel
Tool & Cutter knowledge to suit aforementioned materials
Extensive knowledge of Mastercam (offline programming) to create accurate NC programmes with minimal shop-floor editing
Excellent CAD Drafting skills
Wide understanding of Milling Techniques
Ability to prioritise according to the Production Schedule
Offline Programming from Customer and In-House Drawings
Source standard Tool & Cutters to suit workload and design/source bespoke tooling suppliers
Qualification:
Heidenhain Control knowledge
SOLIDWORKS
Turning Techniques and ability to set machining centre if needed
Surface Treatment Techniques such as Plating and Anodising
Inspection routines for Aerospace components
5 axis and/or 3+2 milling
Drawing Issue and Programme Management
Offline Programming from Solid Models
