Mechanical Design Engineer
BMM Weston Limited are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team. You will be responsible for the design and development of medical equipment within the decontamination industry. The successful candidate will also be required to give technical support and assistance to other departments within the company.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to work with the most up to date CAD package. SolidWorks 2014 will be installed during March 2014 and additional training may be given to the successful candidate.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Designing and implementing designs that meet the requirements of various directives and international standards.
inc. pressure vessel design, pipework diagrams & general BOM schedules.
•Working with electrical engineers to detail electrical assembly drawings.
•Providing technical support to the production and service teams.
•Working with purchasing department to ensure parts are available in time for build and shipment.
•Keep abreast of current techniques, best practice,regulatory requirements and introducing new methods where necessary.
•To be responsible for cost-effective design
•Apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering.
•Must be competent in SolidWorks and show at least 3 years experience.
•Good communication skills and attention to detail
