Description
This is a position for an experienced CAM Programmer who is able to program 3, 4 and 5th Axis Vertical milling centers and Wire cut machines using SolidCAM.
We machine small batches of bespoke high-end products, using a variety of steels and machining methods, therefore technical ability to read from drawings and develop suitable programs and setting information for future production is essential.
The position is for as a Contractor, initially for 12 months
Your Experience / Skills
Skills Required:
Proven experience as a CAM Programmer using SolidCAM
Able to read from drawings and develop programs and setting sheets
Proactive nature and keen to work within a small team and take responsible for the
role
Experience of working within a low volume batch environment
Also knowledge of:
SolidWorks CAD
Experience as a CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter and Operator using Heidenhain controls
EDM wire cut machines using FANUC controls
AgieCharmilles Die Sinking EDM machines
