CAD Design (signage)

IVC Signs are currently looking to recruit a CAD Draughtsman as part of their young enthusiastic team this is due to a major investment within the company. Based at our manufacturing unit Kemsing nr Sevenoaks Kent. The position will play a key role in assisting with the development of the company. The successful applicant will have knowledge of SolidWorks ,Coral Draw, Adobe Illustrator or a similar design package together with a positive aptitude for ‘hands on’ production work. A strong desire to work within a team and to be able to assist as and when required. Experience within the sign industry would be of advantage.

Key responsibilities include:
CAD Design work SolidWorks
The production of manufactured drawings
Designing layouts for a number of different sign applications.
CNC cutting files for Routers and water jet machines
Assist with producing photomontages and visuals.
Working closely with the sign manufacturing staff

Job Requirements:
A good knowledge of SolidWorks, sheet metal & weld ments is essential.
We ask that all applicants have the ability to create drawing detail suitable for manufacture within SolidWorks, and, can provide necessary flat patterns to our CNC department.
Along with SolidWorks, an understanding in CorelDraw, Illustrator and Photoshop would be advantageous.
