Role: Fabricator (Engineering Technician)

Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an in-house fabricator at Entocycle. You will play an instrumental part in constructing our highly innovative pilot facility which turns food waste into protein using insects.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Prepare the new site for installation of Entocycle equipment
• Fabricate and assemble items designed by our in-house engineers
• Install bespoke ventilation system • Feedback and iterate upon designs
• Set up new workshop
Your Experience / Skills
Essential experience with:
• Power tools (inc. pillar drill, lathe, band/circular saw etc.)
• Soldering • 3D printing
• Reading and working from technical engineering drawing
• You should be a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a thirst for learning and keen attention to detail
• Ability to build effective relationships and work as part of a team
Desirable but not essential, experience with:
• Laser cutting
• Welding
Qualification:
Ability to work from technical engineering drawings
Salary Range:
£23-28,000
