ENTOCYCLE

We’re looking for two experienced Mechanical Engineers. Your primary role is to be responsible for taking projects from infancy through to final production. Your will have a strong influence on shaping Entocycle's pilot facility, our first step to creating the most efficient Black Soldier Fly factory in the world.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Turn proof of concept prototypes into production-ready components
• Identify and modify existing off-the-shelf machinery where possible
• Detailed technical design work using available CAD tools
• Produce engineering drawings
• Instruct and guide fabricators during the manufacturing process
• Guide and participate installation of your projects into the pilot facility
• Input to development of systems and the development of junior staff

Additional Duties: Contribute designs to the factory blueprint

Desired Skills & Experience:

• BEng qualification (2.1 or higher) from top tier university
• Experience of CAD software (ideally SolidWorks) to a demonstrably proficient standard
• You will have experience with designing projects from conception through to completion including calculations, drawings, specifications. Please highlight this in your application.
• Experience of factory plant design
• Experience and good understanding of Designer responsibilities under CDM Regulations, design safety procedures
• Producing engineering reports and presentations to management
