SPT-Systems, part of the Kepi International Group are manufacturers of SIP panels, which in turn are used to construct state of the art buildings.
Due to a recent expansion into the lodge market, we have a vacancy in our design office for an experienced and suitably qualified Design Office Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
Daily management of the design office staff and systems.
Ensuring that all design files & project information is produced and managed in accordance with the companies ISO9000 procedures.
Create & develop 3D CAD models & 2D Layouts for the purposes of both architectural design and factory production
Create a Library of Standard Parts, Bespoke Parts & Large Assemblies in 3D.
Create & develop 3D Assemblies working to relevant guidelines, standards & structural engineers calculations.
Create 2D site drawings & layouts from 3D assemblies.
Liaising with clients on project specific information.
Developing product costings.
Compile production schedules and BOMs
Visit Client Sites to carry out survey work.
Creating 3D Visuals utilising current rendering packages
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years design office experience, 2 of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
Excellent 3D & 2D CAD skills.
A background in Caravan / Modular / Engineering or Construction or an understanding of Engineering & Construction principles.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork, organizational and communication skills.
A working knowledge of modular within the leisure industry.

HNC or above in Engineering or Construction design (degree preferred)
