Graham Steelworks & Engineering Ltd is offering an exciting role for a new (trainee) Designer Engineer.

Your Experience / Skills

Experience Required

Previous experience in a Product Design Role.

Excellent CAD skills (SOLIDWORKS).

A high degree of technical knowledge and creative ability with a hands-on approach.

Visual and spatial awareness.

Commercial awareness.

Knowledge of fabrication processes, techniques, and standards.

Competencies and Skills Required

Good communication – able to interact with colleagues and customers effectively and professionally.

Good team player – creates and maintains effective working relationships.

Strong problem-solving skills – ability to find effective solutions and understands the need of the customer.

Self-starter – able to work responsibly and without supervision. A candidate who is adaptable and open to change.

Good attention to detail. Ability to spot mistakes and rectify them.

Good time management and organisation.

Full, clean driving license & passport

Qualification:

Proficient in SOLIDWORKS

Salary Range:
£25k - £35k based on experience
