Hodge Clemco is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified person to undertake the role of a Mechanical Design Draughtsman.

The role will be required to work as part of a small multi-disciplined engineering team. Our engineering team is a key department to our industrial side of the business and the position offers an interesting and varied role with the main duties including:

Inputting Bills of Materials using our proprietary Manufacturing Software;

Creating New Part builds;

Preparation of Owners Manuals;

Assistance with preparation of Risk Assessments & Method Statements;

Detail drawing using SolidWorks & ideally posses a knowledge of AutoCAD 2D under instruction from our Contracts Engineers;

Produce profile drawings for our profile cutter;

Customer liaison and site surveys;

Experience within a design office, working with Autocad & Solidworks;

Good IT skills including MS Office;

Full driving licence;

Flexible working approach

Experience of preparation of fabrication / sheet steel drawings;

Experience of pneumatic systems, including solenoids;

Knowledge of Risk Assessments / Method Statement and CDM regulations;
