Description

Short Temporary contract to transform stp CAD Files to Solidworks 2014 file. This could be done in an evening or weekend type format. The products are shown on this web site: Http://www.futurenova.com
If this temporary contract works out there will be more work to create an advanced version of the FlipPad and the LasarPen.
It is a good opportunity to work with the company through its launch phase with a possible permanent position in the future.

Your Experience / Skills

The person must have a minimum of 3 years on Solidworks. Should have 2 years experience with an Injection mould company. Experience with design for medical products would be useful in particular working with Makrolon.
Future work would require direct communication with UK Injection Tool designer and following the products right through to factory production in Oxford. It may require visits to NHS Hospitals to work with medical consultants who are collaborating on the design.

Qualification:

They should have completed formal training to advanced part model design. Ideally the person should have completed formal training at SolidSolutions. They would need three excellent references from previous work. Ideally the person should have a HND or HNC in an engineering or design category. The person must be a UK national with a clean full driving licence and be willing to undertake an enhanced CRB check. (This is for the design work in hospitals)
The person may undergo training in Prince 2 Project Management if they progress to a permanent position.
