Cherry Pipes specialise in the manufacture and distribution of plastic drainage systems to the Agricultural, Civils and Construction Industries throughout the UK and Ireland.

Due to business growth we have requirement for Design Engineers within our moulding and fabrication division.

The Design Engineer role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual, who is skilled in 3D design.

Salary £25-35k depending on experience

The role will be carrying out design of various products and components, innovation of new product development, improving existing products and adding creativity and innovation in designs right from concept to manufacture.

Desirable Criteria:

- Previous experience of design plastic products would be advantageous

Essential Criteria:

- Ability to show a level of creativity and innovation to find solutions to bespoke product needs and requirements
- An in-depth working knowledge of Solid Works software.
- Ability to methodically produce detailed technical drawings and manufacturing drawings for production teams
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong IT skills
