PlasmaTrack is a Rail Technology business built on innovation. Over the last 5 years the team has developed technologies which will bring about the end of Autumnal delays and lead to new ways of Railway operation. The technology has been developed and proven with support from the Railway Safety & Standards Predictable and Optimised Braking programme. It is now embarking on a new journey into the commercial delivery of its technology for the UK through Network Rail and globally.
PlasmaTrack is looking for full time employees to join the core engineering team and accelerate the development of Rail borne solutions.
Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer you will be involved in the planning, costing and engineering delivery of PlasmaTrack's products. This will include development of mechanical engineering of PlasmaTrack products, structural analysis, engineering calculation, systems design, liaison with suppliers, test rig development plus testing and delivery to Railway specification for current and future projects.
To succeed in the team, you will need to have a good understanding of engineering first principles, the skills to think around the engineering challenge presented and experience in Railway Engineering.
This role will grow as PlasmaTrack Ltd expands and grows from tech start-up to a global railway delivery company.
