Senior Design Engineer
KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To undertake responsibility for the embodiment and detailed design and drawing work on specific new or existing products in support of other members of the Engineering group.
To take overall responsibility for specific projects involving the updating or modification of existing products.
To ensure the quality, accuracy and timely availability of documentation for which you are responsible. Documentation may include drawings, parts lists, bills of material, assembly instructions, manuals, design briefs, change notes and other information related to the design, manufacture and use of a product.
To collaborate and liaise with the Engineers, Production and other departments to ensure the best quality of design is achieved (both to minimise manufacturing costs and to satisfy the end user) in the minimum of time.
To support Production and other departments in solving problems, improving quality, and eliminating waste.
To ensure that all documentation, drawings and records are maintained and updated in a secure, reliable and effective manner so that efficient manufacture of Company products can take place.

Other duties, as required, to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Company.
