Description
Jonic Engineering Limited designs and manufactures complex hydraulic cylinders for various markets throughout Europe. We require an assistant design engineer with a good engineering knowledge and CAD skills. The job requires an applicant who is able to work as team member as well as on own initiative. The applicant would be working closely with our experienced design team.
Duties to include the production of models and detailed drawings for manufacture and the design of jigs and fixtures used in manufacture.
Your Experience / Skills
Fully competent in the use of Solid Works.
Good understanding of drawing practises with an eye for detail.
Understanding of manufacturing principles and techniques.
Knowledge of hydraulic would be an advantage but not essential.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience with FEA an advantage.
Qualification:
HNC, HND, Degree in mechanical engineering or related subject
