This role will be responsible for; managing the toolmakers (direct line management of toolmakers) and the entire tool room department; the design, development, manufacture and maintenance of tooling from design to commissioning and customer approval; delivering solutions using best practice under strict timescales; managing the supply of new tools and improvements/maintenance of existing tools in line with customer expectations and to work closely with sales department on new projects.

This role is for a hands-on toolmaker to join a dynamic leading edge company that is investing in its people and technology in order to develop the business further and to become world class within the spring and pressings industry.

This role is for a skilled and experienced Toolmaker in a leading manufacturing company. Candidates will have; managerial experience in a tool room environment and proven skills in the design, manufacture and maintenance of press tooling.
