Our client is a market leader in anechoic chamber and screened room solutions. They design, manufacture & installs turnkey solutions for both UK & world markets. A shielded chamber provides the necessary RF quiet environment in which to conduct many types of application testing such as EMC, wireless, automotive, military to name a few. These sheet metal enclosures known as test cells are designed to individual Client requirement, ensuring compliance with the highest quality international requirements for various industries including Automotive, EMC, Wireless, Electronics, Medical, MRI, Defence, RF Microwave/Antenna. You will become part of a leading provider of EMC antenna measurement facilities and specialist RF protected environments such as EMPP, TEMPEST and MRI.

An immediate position has arisen for a skilled design engineer with experience in AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS in sheet metal design & Fabrication.

Main Duties and Responsibility’s

You will work as part of the Design team supporting the Project Manager
Generate complete engineering packages including GA drawings in AutoCAD, as well as assemblies and models in SOLIDWORKS 3D modelling software.
Redesign / design & detail standard parts & assemblies.
Modify & maintain existing product.

Your Experience / Skills

Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Technically minded
Excellent communications skills

Minimum qualified to HNC level or come from a relevant engineering discipline
Sheet metal design & general fabrication experience
AutoCAD 2D & SOLIDWORKS 3D modelling software is essential.
2 -5 years industry experience

Salary Range:
£25,000 - £30,000/annum
