Description
• Support the team with the appropriate 3D Design Engineer duties
• Draw parts in SOLIDWORKS for simulations, 3D printing and manufacturing
• Run basic SOLIDWORKS simulations on parts and material selection to establish most suitable material to physically prototype
• Prepare files for tooling manufacture and mould makers etc
• Liaise with production engineers to ensure quality
• Liaise with customers to gain better insight of their requirements
• Produce site specific installation drawings for sub-contractors
• Produce build drawings for workshop procedures & record modifications/improvements during assembly/production
