Genevac is a leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment, exporting our products globally to a variety of industries. We are looking for an experienced design engineer to join a small team of engineers leading projects from concept through to production. He or she will liaise with suppliers and all departments within the company throughout the development to arrive at the most cost effective solution. The ability to think on your feet and come up with solutions to issues & problems is as important as being able to drive a CAD package.
Summary
The mechanical design and development of Genevac products, using 3D CAD, to comply with appropriate worldwide standards
To provide technical advice and support to the Design Draughtspersons, helping them to deliver safe, reliable and economic designs
Creation of project plans & management of those projects as required by the R&D Manager
Provide support to legacy products, with regards to improvements in design, functionality and reliability
Provision of technical support for other departments, such as Production, Sales and Service
