We need a CAD Engineer who will contribute to the design of mechanical components. If you would like to join a successful, innovative and multi-disciplinary R&D team, engaged in a wide variety of projects, we would like to hear from you. Applicants should be proficient with 3D CAD modelling /drafting, preferably using SOLIDWORKS, be able to produce engineering drawings to BS8888.
Remuneration will include a competitive salary, pension contribution, income guarantee insurance and a generous profit related bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Working within R&D, predominantly with mechanical engineers producing:
• engineering drawings to the BS8888 standard
• bills of materials
• production assembly drawings
• solid models
• Coordinating the product change system
• Issuing drawings
• Organising drawing office file management.
• Installing SOLIDWORKS upgrades and service packs.
• Producing artwork for labels would be an advantage.
