The successful candidate will be responsible for business development at Rotron. Specifically, this will include:
• Creating a pipeline for Rotron
• Liaising with projects and engineering
• Closing of contracts
• Writing contracts and updating the commercial brochure
• Ensuring projects are in line with the scope of the contract
• Travel to clients
• Following up new business opportunities & setting up meetings
• Planning & preparing presentations
• Communicating new product developments to clients
• Overseeing the development of marketing literature
• Updating management on business development opportunities
• Client retention and management

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Experience and proven track record in business development
• Good knowledge of the UAV industry, with an extensive network within the military and commercial sectors
• Track record of winning grants and finding new revenue streams
• Ability to manage complex commercial relationships
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
• An understanding that this role will require working outside of normal office hours, including some weekends and evenings, due to the international nature of our client base.
