Casting Development Engineer
Vanguard Foundry Ltd is the leading producer of low – medium volume high integrity Ductile Iron and Stainless Steel castings servicing the Turbo Charger, Diesel Engine, Bus and General Engineering Sectors. (www.vanguardfoundry.co.uk)
We are looking to recruit a graduate calibre individual with knowledge of CAD and SolidWorks in particular.
The successful candidate will join our existing technical team, initially focussing on modelling and operation of our NovaCast flow/solidification simulation software. The subsequent design of tooling to ensure robust methods of manufacture together with the preparation of customer quotations will also form a major part of the day to day role.
All relevant in-house and external training will be provided to enable career progression to Technical Manager within 3-4 years.
