Before you begin ensure you have the latest SWOOD software and SWOOD library downloaded
onto the machine. These Download links will be provided at time of purchase. If you have not
received these download link please.
If you are updating from a previous version of SWOOD it is essential that you deactivate
all licences – SWOOD Design, SWOOD Cam and SWOOD nesting. Once all licences of
SWOOD are deactivated, then uninstall SWOOD from Control panel >> Programs and
features >> SWOOD20XX
- Before you begin the installation on either a chosen server location or on your local C drive
create a folder named “SWOOD” within this folder create two more folders – “DATA
DIRECTORY” and “WORKING DIRECTORY”. The library file must be unzipped and placed into
the SWOOD DATA folder ready for the installation.
- SOLIDWORKS must be closed during the installation process.
- The software must be installed locally by the network administrator. Disable User Account
Control Settings and any anti-virus program.
