Important - Error Messages

  • SWOOD comes complete with a design library which can be configured and added to as you design. In order to use the library, you must locate it in a suitable location (network location if sharing data amongst multiple users) before directing the software to the location.
  • This action will be prompted on first start up after the SWOOD installation, but can be changed at any point by navigating to Tools>SWOOD design>Settings and browsing to the new location.
  • If you receive the error message “Cannot find SWOODCAM.cfg” it’s possible that the library has either been extracted to the wrong location or wrong file level. If this is as expect please re-unzip the library folder sent. If you are still experiencing issues please contact technical support.
  • Ensure that SOLIDWORKS is picking up the SWOOD Design templates. If it is not then in SOLIDWORKS options create a new document template path to \SWOODDESIGN\TEMPLATES
